Inspired by Gospel values the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to the needy and suffering in the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam, and its
Patron, St. Vincent de Paul
National Council of the U.S.
Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Our primary mission is to help alleviate the needs of the poor, assisting needy families with their toddler needs.
Our service to the needy in Newburgh is growing in leaps and bounds. We will always have the poor; now more than ever. Our activities in Newburgh have increased considerably, especially personal contacts with the needy. We earnestly ask that if our mission appeals to you, and you want to join a viable and humble ministry to help those less fortunate than we are, do not hesitate to stand up and be counted among our members.
SVDP encourages new members to join and become “helping hands”
Our membership consists of parishioners from all Newburgh parishes which include Sacred Heart, Saint Francis, Saint Patrick's Saint Mary's and Our Lady of the Lake
The Baby Resource Exchange Program is an ongoing appeal to the good people in our parishes to donate diapers, wipes and baby clothes.
It only takes a simple phone call or email and a desire to share your time and energy for a worthy cause.
Our meetings are held on the last Tuesday of the month in the Valestro Activity Center
